ARTlo (ARTlothian) is an independent arts site whose aim is to promote and showcase the work of independent artists and performers as well as arts events, across Edinburgh and the Lothians. 

   Artists and performers can be assured that ARTlo’s core values are to be independent, respectful, accurate and honest.

ARTlo holds the vision of creating an inspiring, well-regarded arts site with associated social media links which will be the “go to” site of choice for finding out more about the work of our talented artists and performers based or working in Edinburgh and the Lothians. 

ARTlo is the creation of James Hart, a third year BA (Hons) Journalism student at Edinburgh’s Napier University. James has long had a passionate interest in the arts, enjoying creating art when time allows and is a keen theatre and filmgoer.
